There’s something magical about a vacation—sun on your skin, salty air, and that sense of slowing down just enough to breathe. I was in full beach-mode bliss when my phone buzzed with the kind of message that instantly flips a photographer switch in my brain: “Intimate firehouse wedding at Station No. 2. Are you available?”
Suddenly, my beach towel felt a lot more like a launchpad.
I packed away my sunscreen, shook off the sand, and traded ocean waves for the charm of downtown Wilmington. And trust me—every mile of that drive was worth it. Station No. 2 is the kind of venue that makes you instantly understand why couples fall in love with it. It’s warm, historic, a little quirky, and overflowing with character. The perfect place for an intimate celebration.
When I arrived, the atmosphere was cozy and heartfelt—family buzzing with excitement, soft music echoing through the old firehouse, and two people completely in love, ready to promise forever.
